Recharge in the name of sustainability. It’s a concept that is as simple as it’s enlightening – who hasn’t needed to be in contact with nature in order to recharge their batteries? – as it is enlightening, which ICA has decided to put at the heart of its Christmas season. How? By choosing the Seaqual® Pochette bags created by iGreen Gadgets with the company’s logo as a gift for all of its clients and collaborators. A partnership under the banner of the intelligent and innovative use of resources, to celebrate not only Christmas but also the 50th anniversary of a group that has always been attentive to the environmental impact of its products.
ICA: 50 years at the service of innovation
Made in Italy, sustainability and ongoing research. These are the key words that characterize the work of ICA Group, world leader in the production of coatings for wood and glass. These are the key words that characterize ICA Group’s work – a world leader in the production of coatings for wood and glass. And with a laboratory dedicated to the research of increasingly innovative solutions.
One example of this is the highly popular range of water-based coatings, which are green not only in terms of their composition but also in terms of their production cycle. Manufactured in accordance with the most advanced standards for the reduction of environmental impact, they contain recycled raw materials, eliminating oil and significantly reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
Celebrating the group’s birthday with a green logo
To mark the 50th anniversary of its foundation, ICA Group has decided to launch a new company logo to celebrate this important and significant occasion. It’s a decision that the group wanted to share with all of those who have been part of its history, from the numerous employees around the world to its clients. How? By asking iGreen Gadgets to customize the Seaqual Pochettes with the company’s logo.
A gift with a truly original concept: recharge with nature. That is, use the pochette to keep in order powerbanks, cables and everything that recharges us daily, taking advantage of the “smart” dimensions of the pochette that lends itself perfectly to accompany employees in their working life (yes, it also applies to remote working!).
Seaqual: the sea and the circular economy
The pochette Seaqual was born from the idea of pursuing a concept of circular economy that was the fruit of the synergetic work of a number of different professionals, demonstrating how sustainability does not just mean reducing the negative impact on the environment, but can also play an active role in the production of new wealth. iGreen, in partnership with the Seaqual project, creates designer products – from beach towels to bags to the pochette chosen by ICA for its Christmas – using a special fiber created from the recovery of plastic from the sea.
To do so, it involves local populations, engaging fishing boats – among the first to suffer the negative consequences of plastic pollution – in recovery operations. But also scientists, and various other figures, who turn the production cycle upside down, making plastic waste a new material and a new job for local populations. All this with the possibility, for the customer, to scan the label and find out where the material used for their pochette (cloth… bag…) has been recovered.
