Just concluded Maker Faire Rome 2023 the event that saw us at the forefront during three days of fair, from October 20th to 22nd, at the vast space of Fiera di Roma. iGreen Gadgets was indeed assigned two stands in the LIFE Pavilion, a space dedicated to projects committed to developing new models of the circular economy. Among talking tea bags and chips with cricket flour, these three days at Maker Faire were a succession of emotions and moments to meet companies and individuals interested in discussing sustainability.
Maker Faire Rome 2023 Edition
Maker Faire Rome is an event designed to reconcile innovation and ideas, bringing people with common interests together. A project promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Rome and organized by Innova Camera, which deals with innovation and the development of the entrepreneurial system, as part of the PID Digital Business Point project, in synergy with other national and international institutions. Since its first Italian edition in 2013, Maker Faire has attracted the attention of the general public, welcoming an average of 100,000 people every year. A success that was repeated in the 2023 edition.
iGreen Cover and iGreen Gadgets’ shop
In the LIFE Pavilion, we had a stand entirely dedicated to the sale of our products. An opportunity to showcase all the novelties at iGreen, including iGreen Cover. The audience’s response was exceptional, and the interest shown in our gadgets, such as mini-cactus keychains and iGreen Bags, really impressed us.
Maker Faire Rome and the MakeITCircular Contest
During these intense days at Maker Faire, the iGreen Cover project was also awarded the MakeITCircular prize, an award aimed at promoting the Circular Consumption Charter and values such as recycling, reuse, and co-design. iGreen Cover was unveiled to the public for the first time, receiving numerous favorable opinions and very positive reviews. The MakeITCircular award was an additional certificate of esteem and recognition, given by a jury of experts in sustainability and circular consumption.
